Tonka fun
My children enjoy the games. Just enough of a challenge for 3 to 5 year olds.

Very disappointed
I got the Construction game to install fine on my computer with XP, then gave it a trial run before letting my son play with it. It's a clever game with lots of things to do, but I had a huge amount of difficulty steering the vehicles and in some cases figuring out what I was supposed to do next. Very frustrating. As for the Search and Rescue game, again it installed...

As for the Search and Rescue game, again it installed fine, but then I discovered I needed the Indeo codec in order for the game to run properly. Usually, codecs aren't a problem because they're free, but this one will cost you $14.95 to purchase from the company that owns the codec. Since I didn't think my son could play the construction game very well, I wasn't about to spend another $15 to find out if the Search and Rescue game was any different.

My son is 4 and loves this game. We checked it out at the library and he enjoyed it so much we had to buy it for him. The best part is once I helped him understand the basics of the game (which took about 5 minutes of my time), he was able to do it on his own without help. We are going on a trip and he will play with it on the plane on a laptop. It will make the trip go so much faster for him!

The description says the 2 pack runs on XP and Vista. However, Tonka Construction would NOT run on Vista - Search and Rescue will.Tonka 2 Pack
