This is just a Warning message and doesn't review the story which is excellent. This is one half of the previously released Remember When. The companion volumn, and the other half of the story, is Hot Ice. The full 'Remember When' book is available on kindle for 6.39 so there is no reason to buy half the story for the same price.

So be careful - I'm tempted to just buy anything from Nora Roberts or JD Robb that I haven't heard of before, but her publishers are getting tricky.

Unfortunately, I had already purchased the ebook before reading these comments...that can't be returned. I'm royally PO'd about this. Nothing in the marketing says that it is a reprint when I pre-ordered this. I use to excuse NR and just blame the publishers and marketing; but this game of misleading consumers has gone on too long for her to be blameless.

I FEEL TAKEN ADVANTAGE BY BOTH AMAZON AND THE PUBLISHER FOR ORDERING THIS AUDIOBOOK FOR MY MOM WHO COLLECTS ALL JD ROBB BKS/ AUDIOBKS. IT WAS NEVER WRITTEN THAT IT WAS A RE-RELEASE. THE PUBLICATION DATE MAKES IT LOOK LIKE IT IS NEW. THIS IS THE LAST BK I WILL PAY FOR BY THIS AUTHOR AND FROM THIS PUBLISHER. THE REST I WILL GET FROM THE LIBRARY.

Loved this book, but I loved it the first time I bought it when it was called "Rember When". It came out the first time with a book from Nora Roberts attached called Hot Rocks. Nora and JD are the same author and i love everything she writes. Was not happy to pop open the book this weekend home sick in bed to find out I had bought a book i already read and had in my library. I will continue to buy everything JD Robb puts out I love all her character and love Eve Dallas. I have every book out that JD robb has written (some autographe, true fan) and have read them at least 3 times, even once in order, but I was not happy to get excited by another book with Eve Dallas as a charter and its not part of the death series... had me intrigued. But lo and behold it was a death series book and had been released before under a different name. BUMMER... have I been soured? NO... but not happy to have been decieved...Shame on her publisher....

Thanks to all of you who wrote a review and letting me know this is a reprint. I would've purchased this for my kindle since I purchase ALL of the JD Robb! Appreciate you all taking the time to write up the review and am sorry some of you had to pay for a reprint. It may help to let you know you kept me from doing it!

I think there should be a law preventing publishers from printing books that have been released before without saying so in very large letters on the front cover.
Nora Roberts books are notorious for rereleasing 2 in 1 books, and then combining the stories with others and reprinting them.
This time it is really blatantly insulting to her faithful readers.
I have bookcases all over my house, at least four of them are filled with Nora Roberts books.
I think I'm about done with giving her the benefit of the doubt.
The first time this happened, I presumed she didn't know about it, then I overlooked it a few more times, but enough is enough.
I live on fixed income, and I love to read.
She's wealthy enough, she doesn't need to steal from me.

i wish i had read the reviews BEFORE i ordered this book- but i pre ordered it long ago- i got a kindle and since it wasnt offered in the kindle format i ordered the paperback- i am truly pissed that they did this to loyal fans.....i agree with what everyone else said

I am absolutely livid. I should have read the reviews and saved my self the trouble of trying to return this book. I have never needed to check the readers reviews for J.D. Robb before.
I own and enjoy each of her books. I loved the original story. I cannot understand what would make her pull this stunt on loyal fans. From now on I will view each new book she releases with suspicion.

It is a cheat. It it part two of a two part story. The opening story is to be printed under the name Hot Rocks by Nora Roberts.

I am bitterly disappointed with this book. It was written in 2003, not 2010, and is simply the second half of the book "Remember When". What a ripoff!
