This is not one of the Foos' more serious songs, but it is so very catchy and easy to memorize that it shouldn't make any difference.
It appears to be a simple yet earnest declaration of love ("but it's you/I fell into"), with some decidedly goofy lyrics ("reasons only knew...treasons all renew" ?) that make it both humorous and non-threatening.
