I don't know if it is just happenstance or by design that this artist is grouped with Antje Duvekot and her CD's above under the "Customers who bought this item also bought....", but potential buyers should know that this artist IS NOT Antje Duvekot. I don't know if it is just happenstance or by design that this artist is grouped with Antje Duvekot and her CD's above under the "Customers who bought this item also bought....", but potential buyers should know that this artist IS NOT Antje Duvekot. Antje Duvekot is one of the most talented new singer-songwriters on the American folk scene today. THIS Antje is Antje Zumbansen. I'm sure Ms. Zumbansen is a gifted artist in her own right but buyers should know for certain that they are two different artists.

"Big Open Sky" is an appropriate title for this CD, because she assumes a wide variety of personas. She is the petulant, materialistic woman in "Lovely Painted Dishes" - you can ever hear the pout in her voice. She is the sweetly maternal soul in "Monsters In Your Room." And she is the earth child in "Sunshine," singing a physically sensual love song to the sun. Anyone who has been outside in summer, loving the sun's warmth on their bare skin, can relate.
