I had high expectations for this book because, let's face it, everything these guys do is BIG and RICH. They did NOT disappoint! Once you start reading, you can't put it down...you are sucked in to their emotions as you travel down the road with the guys we know and love as Big & Rich. I literally read all 230 pages in one sitting. Ever wondered how John & Kenny met? How they felt about becoming a duo? How they were inspired to write some of the biggest hits? READ THIS BOOK! You'll laugh, you'll cry - heck, you might even recognize some of the absolute AMAZING pictures - I know I did. What are you waiting for? Buy this book today! It's a must have for all Big & Rich fans!

I just love this book, and it's not just all about the great pictures (which there are many of, including some exclusive private ones), but it's the stories behind the pictures, told by Big Kenny and John Rich from their hearts.

I feel like a very uneducated fan, having never had the experience of seeing them on stage. My only dealings with Big & Rich have been through their CDs, videos and TV appearances and from my fellow Mafia Soldiers. This book really gives you alot of insight into who these guys really are and how they got to this point in their lives.

You really have to read it to understand it. And I hope, in say, 10 years, there is another book to share the next decade of their lives with us as they get even bigger and better.

I just received my book and I cannot put it down! It is filled with wonderful stories and pictures. There is even a chapter about their fans! That just goes to show you how spedial John and Kenny are.... to recognize and thank their fans, some by name, made me love them even more. The dvd was a wonderful bonus. You will not be disappointed!

I was so looking forward to this book. When it arrived I was beyond excited. I LOVE IT! John and Big Kenny have gone beyond what I could have possibly imagined with this book. I cannot put it down, and I have read it 4 times now! And the DVD???? OH my goodness funny as heck. Great inside look into the lives of two country muzik superstars!!!

Big and Rich out did themselves once again. They are the real deal. You will not be disappointed.

very good good reading about the two singers, not sure why they added the dvd with just clips , they should have had earlyer music of them, but the book was really good

As a member of the Freak Parade, Big & Rich's fan club and a Mafia Soldier (a group dedicated to the support and promotion of the Muzik Mafia that was created by Big & Rich along with friends Jon Nicholson and Cory Gierman), I must admit that this review is anything BUT impartial. Many biographies and autobiographies and "How I came to be a megagazillionaire superstar without really trying" books may give us facts and photos, but we never truly SEE the personalities behind the dust jacket. In "All Access" music stars (I refuse to peg them as "country only") Big Kenny

and John Rich let their light shine through from cover to cover.

As fans, and yes, as repeat offenders (fans who attend Big & Rich shows so often that Kenny, John, and the band recognize us!) many of us thought we knew the whole story. The title of the book is dead-on accurate. We are given access to rarely seen photos (and courtesy of the accompanying DVD) video, including touching and sometimes hilarious moments with Kenny's and John's families. The book is a roller coaster ride through their origins, their arrival in Nashville, the "collision of planets" as the two future stars meet, to today's rule-breaking and hit-making dynamic duo. Along the way we're introduced to their friends in the Muzik Mafia, some of the people who have inspired them along the way including Niles Harris and Katie Darnell, and yes, their fans...US...the repeat offenders.

Living life Big & Rich style isn't just about saving horses and riding cowboys. It's also about saving Darfur, honoring Vietnam vets from the 173rd Airborne, and supporting victims of domestic violence. It's about the true power of friendship, even in the face of overwhelming odds and what appear to be insurmountable differences. It's about being serious when it's time to be serious and about jumping on beds and singing "Won't you pee my neighbor?" when it's time to NOT be serious.

This is a not a parade to be watched. It's a parade to join and march along. Get this book, read it, look at the pictures, watch the DVD, and pay particular attention to Chapter 6 about us fans. I dare you NOT to love these guys. We'll hold a spot for you.

I FINISHED READING THIS BOOK AND IT WAS AWESOME. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I LOVE BIG AND RICH AND FOR THEM TO GIVE US THIS DETAIL IN A BOOK WAS SO SPECIAL. THEY ARE SPECIAL TALENTED ARTIST AND I AM PROUD TO SUPPORT THEM. THE STORIES AND PICTURES IN THIS BOOK JUST REINFORCE WHAT MANY OF US KNOW. THAT BIG KENNY ALPHIN AND JOHN RICH (ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES) ARE FOR THE EVERDAY PERSON. THIS BOOK SHOULD BE READ BY PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, SO YOUNG CHILDREN AND MANY ADULTS ALIKE CAN HELP LEARN THE IMPORTANCE OF HUMANITY.

I expected this book to be just a chronology of what I already knew about this duo - and I was pleasantly surprised that there was much I didn't know. Their diverse personalities and backgrounds certainly come out and makes the beautiful blend they do in music even that much better. I was unaware that the book existed until I opened the newest CD which was also great, and have really enjoyed reading it. Great pictures, not ones I had just seen over and over on websites. It was interesting to "meek" those who supported the union, those in the background and others in the Musik Mafia. Gread read!!

John and Kenny never cease to amaze me. They allow fans access to pictures and memories that most artists keep to themselves. They make the fans feel as if they truly are part of the family. This is book is well written and hard to put down. Excellent read. These guys are the real deal.
