It was my pleasure to attend the CD release party at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago this past March and the only thing I can say is WOW!!! Howard and the Boy's put on a show any blues lover would have enjoyed. "The Big Score" is a big hit. The night was topped off by seeing the Blues great Buddy Guy himself get on stage and trade licks with the band for a couple of songs. For those of you who think that Howard & the White Boy's are just a local Chicago band think twice, the guy's from Netherlands that flew in to attend the CD release party said these Guy's are as popular in Amsterdam as they are in Chicago. This album is jammed packed with new and exciting songs that will burn your speakers up and make you want to listen all night long. Driving to Chicago and back in one day was well worth the trip as long as I have Howard & the White Boys in my CD player to keep me company.

Growing up in Memphis TN, I "cut my teeth" on the likes of B.B and Albert King, Albert Collins, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson II (Rice Miller) etc. I like to think that I know GOOD Blues when I hear it. Let me say that these guys are very good. All the tracks on tis CD are good, but my favorite is number three "It's all you." This CD is well worth your money. Great party music !!

Having seen the band live many times, I was hoping that the new cd would reflect their live performance and it does! If you have a chance to see the band live don't miss it. In the meantime buy the cd and enjoy on of the best blues bands around!

I have been to many live performances and this album comes the closest to capturing that sound. Trouble follows you is my favorite and it was written by the drummer! That by itself shows what a talented group this is. If you have the chance, catch them live too. They tour all over the country every year now and usually make it to Europe on an annual basis.

They just keep getting better and better! Howard & The White Boys third release is by far thier best. The "Big Score" captures the bands essence-"ROCKIN' BLUES WITH AN ATTITUDE". I've seen them play many venues and there is no comparison to thier live performances but this comes close. I highly reccomend that you purchase this cd, purchase thier previous two releases, and see them often! A gauranteed good time.
