Love the ryhmes, love the pictures, love the book. We got a copy as a gift when I was in the hospital with my second daughter. She wasn't keen on the idea of having another baby. I think the book really helped out. She's convinced one of the sisters in the book is her!...

I am the mother of twin girls, and although one is only a tiny bit bigger than the other, I love Big Sister, Little Sister, and they love looking at the beautiful photos. The love between sisters comes shining through in each of the photos. I have friends and relatives with only sons, and I would love to see a follow-up Big Brother, Little Brother that I could share with them!

I bought 5 copies of this book to give out to those I love. The pictures are so engaging and the text is adorable. My big sister is an elementary school teacher and will probably use her copy with the kids she teaches, although I bought it for her just as a thank you for being my big sister. I sure hope there is a follow up for boys!

Big Sister, Little Sister shows beautiful examples of the caring relationship that siblings can have with each other. The sisters in the book are depicted as having a great deal of fun together and just plain loving each other. The book is a positive one to share with my own children as opposed to so many books that focus on little sister or brother as being nothing but a pain. We encourage our children to see their siblings as some of their best friends, for life! I believe we need more books for young children, like Big Sister, Little Sister, that encourage this type of friendship between siblings.

This is an adorable book for sisters of all ages. The creative photographs show such a sweet side of sisterhood. I would enjoy more books like this for gift giving. It would be wonderful to have the whole series, ie. Big Brother, Little Brother, Big Brother, Little Sister and Big Sister, Little Brother. The Big Sister, Little Sister book makes a wonderful baby gift to both the older sister and the new baby sister too.

Marci Curtis truly captured the very special bond that sisters share in this wonderful keepsake for sisters of all ages. My daughters (ages 6 and 4) sat down with the book on our couch together and read it several times over. You could see in their faces, expressions, gestures, and comments to one another as they read and looked at the pictures that they were identifying completely with all the different "sisterly" situations incorporated in the book. What a beautiful way to remind sisters of the special relationship they share! This is a "must buy" for any sisters to enjoy as children and cherish always.

I bought this for my two granddaughters. The photos are very loving and beautiful. My four year old granddaughter likes it and ask often for it to be read to her. Highly recommended.

I am adopting a 8 year old girl and she has a 3 year old sister that is being adopted by another family. She was so excited to give her little sister this book that she could read to her for her little sister's birthday. She wrote her a birthday song on the inside cover. It's really hard to find applicable gifts like this for our situation. I was very exited to find this book and my daughter loved it.

very cute book no big message here that we don't tell our children everyday but they can see the pictures of siblings having fun together and this will inspire them

My 3 year old daughter loves this book! We borrowed it from the library when her little sister was born and decided to buy it. Being a little sister myself, it's really cute and touching.
