5.0 out of 5 stars Is this really real or am i still dreaming?, July 19, 1999
By A Customer
Woooowa there, I have had this album now for two years and every time I listen to it always sounds so fresh. One of the most talented guys on the block with some very fresh and funky beats. Yes Mate! Well worth a listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars big soup and much, much more, April 17, 1999
By A Customer
i got this album quite a while back when it was very rare in the states (for one reason or another, it was just never released here, i think it may have something to do with difficulties in sample clearing...), and i found it to be a perfect addition to the usual ho-hum-iness of the trip hop genre. the album stays jazzy, but offers a slew of devious and sometimes subliminal pranks throughout (vibert's trademark style). in addition to the original 'big soup' album, the japanese version offered here also contains vibert's best stand alone single 'do unto others', which was a precursor to the release of 'big soup'. the tracks of 'do unto others' are the most solid hip hop tracks i've ever heard, and mirror some of the works on vibert's 'tally ho' album as wagon christ (both 'do unto others' and 'tally ho' were tracks rejected by james lavelle for the release of 'big soup'). this is undoubtedly one of the greatest trip hop albums of all time and yet another link in the chain of vibert's childishly brilliant works.
