Something for everyone!,
By Dave Amason (dave@daveamason.com) (Los Angeles, California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Big Stretch (Audio CD)
Of the many fine albums Jim's released, I'd have to say this is one of my favorites! It's aptly described in the liner notes as "everything but the kitchen sink", and the net result is just good, fun listening. Jim shows his talents here not only as a musician, but a fine composer as well. A world-class musician surrounded by other world class musicians - how can you go wrong with that? You don't have to be a tuba player to appreciate a well-produced, highly-polished piece of work...
