I purchased these for my [...] year old daughter for Christmas. I was a little worried because of all of the negative reviews I had read. But you know how it is when Santa is supposed to bring something! The assembly couldn't have been easier. You do have to have some hand strength to stretch the bands in the proper way, but it was not difficult. The minute she put them on she was able to balance and jump. She is not the most coordinated little one, so I was worried. She wears pads and a helmet sometimes, depending on what the surface is, but has fallen without them and it's been fine. Overall I would reccommend these. Great fun!

Lots of fun, but Moon Shoes can be potentially dangerous for hyperactive kids who have difficulty restraining themselves and "playing safe." I suggest only using them on grass or a rug. Kids can still bounce high, but will land safely should they fall. Also, make sure they are securely fastened to kids feet (we use them with shoes). If not securely fastening, ankles may twist!

We purchased these for our 7 year old daughter at Christmas. She LOVES them!! She has had so much fun playing on them and getting lots of great exercise. She has fallen a few times, but we stay on the grass so she hasn't been hurt. I definitely recommend the moon shoes for hours of heart healthy fun!
