Students connected with fishing
As a teacher in a juvenile detention center in the inner city, I enjoyed watching students connect with this story of fishing and other details. We discussed fishing techniques and even learned to fly-cast in the gym. Hemingway's delicate simplicity draws the reader to the depth of those woods and the fresh taste of the stream. WAtch out barney and power rangers- here comes crap
boring-dont read-similar to old man in the sea- there is no point to this short story- i am warning you- seeriously it wasnt bad, it just didnt have anny point- stupid basically-

As a teacher in a juvenile detention center in the inner city, I enjoyed watching students connect with this story of fishing and other details. We discussed fishing techniques and even learned to fly-cast in the gym. Hemingway's delicate simplicity draws the reader to the depth of those woods and the fresh taste of the stream. He created, for those who have never fished, the thrill of the catch and the beauty of solitude.
