0 stars - Pure trash. Just dumb music., August 7, 2006
This review is from: Big Wheel (Audio CD)
How garbage like this gets on the radio I will never know. This hack has absolutly no talent or writing skills......this sucks. The "hold my beer" song is probally one of the worst pieces of crap I have ever had the displeasure of hearing, it's just dumb. I guess the song called "I kissed a guys girlfriend in a bar asked him to hold my beer and he wasted me" is going to be on the next album. From what I can see, anyone calling this an amazing album or the best album ever either: 1.Never listened to any good music before 2.Can't read lyrics 3.Don't appreacheate talent 4.Have crap taste is music .....this album is an insult to music and should never have been produced. Hopefully Arron Pritchett got killed for trying to kiss some guys girlfriend and we don't have the displeasure of listen to this trash again.

Entertaining songs but a poor vocal tone, July 4, 2006
This review is from: Big Wheel (Audio CD)
Aaron Pritchett has undoubtedly worked hard to get where he currently is in the country music business. The songs on this album are catchy, with good lyrics and dynamic musical melodies and instrument-playing. The problem with this album is that Aaron Pritchett can't sing! His voice is raspy, and he can't really carry a tune. There's a lot of background singing on this album, obviously designed to cover up Aaron's vocal limitations. Granted, there are many other singers (Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, Chris Cagle, etc.) with no better - if they're lucky - mediocre singing voices. But that's no excuse. Aaron uses sex appeal to market his music, and it seems to be working. He's well-muscled and obviously works out religiously to maintain that physique, but his supposed 'stud status' doesn't mean he's a real singer. He's a 'pretty macho boy' who appeals to the drooling females out there. Would any of these women really listen to his music if he was flabby and ugly? Think about it. I give this album a middle-of-the-road rating on account of the lyrics and instrumentation, but I go no higher than that on account of Aaron's hoarse singing voice.

Never have I heard something so fantastic in my life. The best album by far on the market.
