I decided to read this book mostly because of the title... I mean, who can resist a book called "Big White Panties"? We've all worn them, we've all seen them, we know how unsexy they are, y'all. Even though I'm a woman, I found the book to be filled with some pretty clever insights into the male brain. When I ask my husband what he's thinking, he usually says, "I'm thinking about the left-over brownies" or "I'm thinking about the Mets." I'm pretty sure he's telling the truth, but being a curious creature (as we women tend to be) I find it somewhat comforting to have it verified that there is, indeed, very little going on in his head.

Keep them coming, Dale! Help us solve the mystery of the male mind!!!

I can appreciate the view from the otherside. I know I would be disowned if I dared to wear "Big White Panties". This is a perfect book on a kindle. It is funny, I found myself laughing as I related to a few things that sounded like something my boyfriend would say. From a woman's perspective, you may find it takes a little reading to get into the groove of the book. Not because of lack of interest; but because the thinking/view is different than our style of thinking.

Worthwhile and always great to find a truly humorous book that carries that theme throughout.

Looking forward to more books from Dale.

Very much enjoyed this book! Kind of Venus and Mars get together and laugh at Martians....and little venmartians. Reminded me of Jeff Foxworthy and Dave Barry.

I read Tim's (my husband's) Big White Panties because he couldn't stop talking about it. Figured I'd hate it but it was actually good, no VERY good but there's no doubt men will prefer it over women. I know one thing: No matter HOW OLD I GET I will NEVER wear Big White Panties in my life now that I have read this!!!

I've never read any of Dale Alderman's books so I bought this one based on the price. It was GREAT I laughed out loud several times and even called my mother and read to her a couple of stories over the phone. A must read. If you like true life humor check this book out. I would recommend it to EVERYONE!

I wanted a quick, light read between novels, and this collection of essays delivered. Mr. Alderman's love for his wife and family is evident--as is his love for all things geeky and his impeccable comedic timing. I'm going to convince my husband of four years to read this. I think he'd get a kick out of it, too.

This is the funniest book I have ever read. With a style that reminds me of Dave Barry, Dale takes a hilarious look at relationships. His observations are right on the money and he makes everyday situations very funny. Loved it!

This is a pretty cute little book; I laughed out loud several times. Funny anecdotes about the differences in how men and women think. At the beginning, where it talks about the woman commenting on how the trash stinks, I cracked up because my husband and I have had LITERALLY that exact conversation, right down to the chicken that he threw away!

Only Southern men submit to their lovely wives as Dale admits to. Why else do you think we love them forever? I wouldn't trade my Gentleman for any of the Hollywood hunks.

Dale, there is hope. Women usually are ready for Victoria's Secret when the kids move out. (Spoken by one in college and one just a year away from high school graduation!) Hang in there. Southern women know how to take good care of their men as well. That is why our grandmothers taught us to make biscuits from scratch.

I read to and from work on the bus and almost laugh out loud! The stories are very relateable and fun-nee. When I put my Kindle away nothing can ruin my mood after a good laugh. I like Dale's sence of humor, a good light read!
