Then the big wide-mouthed frog meets a crocodile - and finds out that sometimes it's better to keep your big wide mouth shut! Fortunately this is a lesson he learns quickly and, puckering his mouth into the narrowest mouth you ever did see, he says, "I'm just a small narrow-mouthed frog and I'm off!" And away he hops.

This is one of those books that's easy to read, yet you can make it your own - I actually have fun giving the character's different voices & saying "the line" the big wide-mouthed frog asks all the animals he meets. This one's an A+

My two year old squeals in delight when I read this tale of a pushy frog who asks too many questions. It's a great opportunity for an imaginative adult to try out different voices for the various animals. (I suggest a Foghorn Leghorn style voice for the frog.) Again, Daddy!
