About the Author

Sandi Eucks, the oldest of 4 children had parents who put their children first, with a dad who owned a grocery store, and a mom who always had a delicious hot meal for dinner, and a clean house. Sandi remembers how she loved making up stories that rhymed, never thinking she would some day publish a book. Sandi married Bill in 1962, and together they raised Danny & Debby, of whom they're very proud. They have 3 grandsons, Dray, Cody and Keith who they enjoy spending time with whenever possible. In addition to the importance of family, Sandi does a lot of volunteer work, facilitates Self Esteem workshops and has a few selling businesses. She promotes a positive attitude and belief in God as a way to live life to the fullest. Before writing professionally, Sandi worked as an office manager, a steel sales rep, a head-hunter, an auditor, and had several other jobs, including 14 years at Procter & Gamble. Sandi gives credit for her writing skills to her manager, Fred Wilson, who was a wonderful manager, coach and friend. She speaks very highly of Fred yet today. Sandi began writing poetry professionally at the time her best friend, Trish, was diagnosed with lung cancer. She still takes pride in writing personalized poetry, as well as poems to support confidence, and encouragement to others. She has written poems on behalf of several of the fallen soldiers, and a poem on behalf of all servicemen.
