This maxi-single is actually 7 tracks, all versions of BYT, using sampled vocals from the original Ladies of the Canyon version of the song. There's a pop/jazz mix, a mix from the Friends soundtrack, and four more new mixes, which are successively funkier (even a hot club mix). The disc concludes with the original vocal/guitar verson. Really fun for Joni fans or anyone who likes the song.

This is a classic and fabulous song to be sure, but if you want to get this tune and don't have any Joni albums yet, spend the extra $10 and get her hits instead. After a few listens, you are bound to become a Joni fan, amazed at the range of her power -- from the jubilent sounding yet poignent "Big Yellow Taxi", to masterpieces like "Carey", "California", "You turn Me On I'm A Radio", and "Come in From the Cold".
