Directions
Hot Tea: One Cup: Pour boiling water over tea bag in a cup and steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Six Cups: Place 3 tea bags in a teapot. Add one quart boiling water. Steep 5 minutes. You can serve this tea as is or with sugar or honey. Iced Tea: One Quart: Add four tea bags to one quart boiling water. Brew 7 to 10 minutes, remove tea bags. Allow to cool and serve over ice.

I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis and started researching holistic ways to decrease the pain and frequency of flare ups. In my research I found out that drinking green tea has been found effective in a small clinical study of inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis. Research indicates that green tea may benefit arthritis by reducing inflammation and slowing cartilage breakdown. We all know about the healthful benefits of anti-oxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals -- damaging compounds in the body that alter cells, tamper with DNA (genetic material), and even cause cell death. Free radicals occur naturally in the body, but environmental toxins (including ultraviolet rays from the sun, radiation, cigarette smoke, and air pollution) also give rise to these damaging particles. Many scientists believe that free radicals contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of health problems, including cancer and heart disease. Antioxidants such as polyphenols in green tea can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause. and this is an appealing way of getting them. I have tried other green teas and did not care for them particularly. But his one has orange and spice added to it which makes it great. Add a little bit of sweetener and the flavors are enhanced.

I've been drinking this green tea for years. It stays fresh in the individual foil packets, and the orange spice flavor is the best green tea I've ever had. The fact that Amazon delivers it is icing on the cake.

I've been drinking different brands and types of green tea for some time. This is, by far, the best brand and flavor I've tested. It has just a little spicy and fruity kick.
