About the Brand

The Bigelow® Tea Story

Beginning the moment our founder, Ruth Campbell Bigelow created "Constant Comment"® Tea in her kitchen in 1945, our family has focused on just one thing…trying to make the finest teas possible. Over the years we have introduced many new flavors as well as concepts in tea. Today we offer a selection of deliciously different blends of teas and green teas, a wide variety of herbal teas and teas flavored with real fruit juice. Today Bigelow Tea is the number one specialty tea company in the United States. And to think it all began with the first legendary black tea flavored with golden orange rind and sweet spice…"Constant Comment"®Tea.

Bigelow takes immense pride in providing the tea drinking community with the best tea at a great value. We only use hand- picked teas, real spices, flavors and herbs. The flavors and blends we have created are second to none. Some of our teas contain up to twenty different ingredients! And because tea is a leaf that can dry out we take steps to protect it. To keep the teas fresh, we seal our tea bags in protective packets. We simply have to protect those delightful flavors. That’s why a cup of Bigelow Tea is aromatic and delicious; a true indulgence for the senses.

I LOVE this tea-- at first I thought it was just for cold fall/winter days but I find myself fixing a cup all year long. My husband has me buy it in a case now, since the stores only carry it for a limited time in the fall... Thank you Amazon for making it available all year. And ginger is good for you!

I LOVE THIS TEA! It is the perfect blend of zippy ginger and refreshing lemon, and not as tart as other lemon-flavored herb teas. I like to add slices of apple and orange (no sweetener needed!) and drink it by the gallon during the day. When I have company, I make up a large pitcher and serve over ice. It gets rave reviews every time.

My husband was introduced to Ginger Snappish Tea in the grocery store.
He has cancer and is not suppose to have caffine. He loves his coffee.
He thought the tea tasted so good, he can do without the caffine.
Better for him and his cancer is stable at this time.

This is a great caffeine free herbal tea but the ginger flavor is a little light. What I taste in it mostly is the lemon verbena and the lemon. Since I like both of these flavors I'm happy with the tea although it wasn't quite what I expected.

They did a great job of packaging this tea with a bright colored box and the individually wrapped teabags also have this colorful packaging so it's a nice one to put out on the table or in a basket of teas. The flavor, because of the lemon verbena reminds me more of a summer tea than a winter one, but I'm happy with it nonetheless.

Like others have mentioned, I also saw this item in my grocery store around Christmas and decided to try it. I only recently started drinking tea regularly, and I almost exclusively use loose tea (which has much better flavor, in my opinion). But I was pleasantly surprised with this Ginger Snappish; I really like it. (I looked for it again in the grocery store, but they didn't have any more.) In fact, I was just making myself a cup and realized I was down to 4 tea bags, so I did an amazon search and voila: my pack of 6 is now on its way.

MMM-mmm-mmm, I haven't seen this flavor in the store this year, so I got a whole case from Amazon to stock up and gift to friends. Add a spoonful of honey, and this tastes just like a gingersnap cookie. Tea helps settle your stomach, and clear your sinuses, and this is a flavor I think you could get your child to try. I have always liked Bigelow teas, I haven't had a bad one yet, unlike Celestial, which ofter tastes pefumey. Also try Constant Comment by Bigelow, tastes like Grand Marnier, and even better with a splash of Grand Marnier,

I found this tea to be all smell and no taste. The smell was wonderful and I was so excited to take a sip. Unfortunately, as soon as I did, my excitement disappeared. It tasted just like plain tea. I won't be purchasing this again.

I ordered this based on others' reviews and glad I did! The way my family drinks tea in the winter, I should probably just have a truck load of this stuff dropped off. The flavor is perfectly balanced. Not too gingery, not too lemony. I often drink it plain, but sometimes I put in a little honey or sugar. It's perfect with some toast, pannetone or cookies. Ginger snappish is my new favorite for a winter warm up!
