I have hard-to dye hair-- any trace of peroxide in the mix and I can kiss my coloring efforts goodbye.

Bigen is the absolute only hair coloring I have found that gives me the long-lasting results I want. I have light chestnut hair, and I use Bigen Light or Medium Chestnut.

One thing new users should know is that the results are often darker than one expects at first, but after two washes or so it mellows down to the color you selected. Plan your dying accordingly-- say, a week before your big event. :D

Bigen Oriental Black has been the best hair color product I've used to achieve my dark, long-lasting, black hair. I have looked for years for a black color that wouldn't fade quickly and would achieve the very black color I wanted. This is definitely a winner. I finally found this one day while researching for the best color to achieve very dark black hair. It is a little bottle of powder and all you do is add water, as the instructions state. The first time using the color I found that it's very hard to cover your whole head with the little bit of mixture that it makes. I made quite a mess the first time using the plastic cup that you'll be mixing the dye in. To my advantage I had short hair so I had got most of my hair covered. The results were amazing, although my hair was dry after rinsing the dye out. I had to use large amounts of conditioner for the first few days but alas my hair was beautiful, black, and exactly what i wanted.

The second time I used it, I had bought an applicator bottle to apply it without having to use the plastic cup which made things messy. I filled the water to the fill line on the plastic cup and poured it into my applicator bottle and then added the powdered dye. I noticed after shaking, this just wouldn't do. My hair had grown alot since the last time I had used this color, therefore; this little bit of mixture wouldn't cover my head so I added more water maybe twice the amount it called for. Shook the bottle and viola I was set, mess free. I worried about since my idea to dilute the dye with twice the amount of water would effect the color results. After applying it all over and still having a tad bit left I manipulated the rest into my hair. 15 minutes later, I washed it out and had the same beautiful, black hair I had the last time I colored it. My color has lasted months without fading much. I love Bigen Oriental Black. Throw out other black hair color products, this is what you want!

This is a hair color product that basically is made with no chemicals. It will not damage the hair and if you get busy and miss the timing it will not do any harm. I have used it for years now and it is the one tint that lasts and covers everything from the few gray hairs that you have at the temples to a whole head full of gray if need be. It also looks natural and colors very true to the color on the box. No more worrying about the lighter grays being brown or red. So if you choose to highlight then it is your choice not the inconsistency of the tint.

In fact, Bigen is the "little secret" that many women use religiously to keep there hair healthy, natural, and thick look to their hair.

I stopped coloring my gray hair for 9 months because I could not find a product that provided good coverage of my gray hair. Then I discovered Bigen. My hair is naturally dark, so I used the Black/Brown. I now use it every 3 weeks.

Just started using this Bigen hair color for 2 months. Love it. easy to use. cheap and the color really stays.Less messy than the others. Never wrote a review before. Needed to share this amazing find.

I love this product. I naturally have fine hair, and after using this, my hair is more course. I get a protein and deep conditioner treatment every 4 weeks, and my hair was always still breaking, but now it doesnt because of this hair color. It really makes your hair courser than before. IT is kind of dry at times so I use a good moisturizing conditioner to keep it soft.

I love this product. Highest possible recommendation. The color only deposits (doesn't lift first) and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I have medium brown hair naturally and I had put blond highlights in it. This color completely covered the blond and left my hair with a natural color almost matching my roots.

I like the product. It makes your hair very soft. Second, it is not strong like other hair color products you find in the market.

If you are looking for a dye that looks very natural, this is best. I have natural black hair with natural highlights of red and brown. Every so often I dye my hair with the Begin "oriental black" color and it makes my hair pitch black. Not blue black, just black, which looks natural. I love this hair dye, it even smells good. Want to tell anyone I can that it's awesome! If you have long or thick hair, buy two packets. I have long/thick hair and two was just enough.

While it didn't *completely* cover my greys (next time I will leave it on longer, like I have with other dyes), I have NEVER used anything on my hair that has left it this soft and shiny. Definitely trying it again (chocolate color - looks black, like I expected based on other reviews) and leaving it on a bit longer next time.
