'Small but fascinating book on Bigfoot film', March 30, 2005
This review is from: Bigfoot at Bluff Creek (Paperback)
'Bigfoot At Bluff Creek' by Daniel Perez is an intriguing, complete narrative on the events leading up to the filming of the famous 'Patterson/Gimlin' footage of a possible Sasquatch/Bigfoot creature back in 1967. With a simple clear-cut narrative and timeline, along with extensive maps and illustrations, writer Perez puts the reader in the boots of these two would-be stalkers of a living legend, previously cloaked in folklore and myth. The author covers the impact and aftermath of the sensational 16MM footage totaling only a minute that to this day is wrapped in controversy. Did Patterson and Gimlin capture on motion picture film, the American Yeti, also know as Bigfoot?
Daniel Perez concludes his short book with a lengthy, exhaustive bibliography of all books dealing with the topic of Sasquatch/Bigfoot for anyone interested in doing further reading on this topic.
Author Daniel Perez makes a good case that at the very least both Patterson and Gimlin have been sincere, honest, and forthcoming on what they had seen and filmed. 'Bigfoot At Bluff Creek' is compelling reading that allows each reader to decide for herself or himself on the events chronicled by Daniel Perez.
