Can't get too much Bigfoot series. Be sure read aloud. Me gift to friend, they laugh too. Leave on coffee table, amuse company. Enjoy!

This book was at the counter and was a last minute impulse buy. And I sat down to read it the other night, and chuckled all the way through. A socially inept Bigfoot explains where he's been and why its so hard for him in this modern world. A night time story book for adults, its hilarious and bittersweet at the same time. Would make a great gift.

The extremely childish, yet violent illustrations are worth the price of the book alone. It made me laugh yet tugged at my heart at the same time. Bigfoot has problems just like you and me! He's simple, yet sophisticated. The whole thing is charming (in a twisted way).

Note: though the illustrations look like they're for a children's book, this is definitely NOT a children's book. If it had a movie rating, it would be R rated, just so you know.

I found this at B&N while looking for a gift for a friend. It's basically Bigfoot's diary if he suffered from social anxiety. The drawing style helps with the humor, but the writing with intentionally bad grammar is the best part of the book. I haven't read anything else by Roumieu, but if this is what his other books are like, I'll make sure to pick them up.

Seamless, inspired, hilarious work. The personal account of the monosyllabic mystery of the woods. As funny as the text is, the illustrations resonate and add to it. An idea so simple YOU could off thought of it, but you never could have pulled it off with this much charm and vision, so bite the bullet and buy the book. Makes a great present, I got it for my birthday, I laughed so hard, I bought it for my good friend.

This book is a hilarious read, definitely focused on an adult audience. Do not let the cartoon illustrations fool you, similar in the way that South Park is a cartoon, but not meant for kids. Roumieu does a great job with the cartoon-like scenes that tell the satirical story of what it would be like to be fuctioning as BigFoot in today's twisted world.

The book isn't long, and definitely worth the hour or so of amusement. We purchased the hard copy book, and keep it as a coffee table book to share with friends. It is always a conversation piece the second anyone picks it up. We've also purchased a few copies to give as gifts to our friends who appreciate the similar humor.

If you find humor in dark satire or cartoons like South Park, this is certainly worth picking up.

I got this after reading "Me Write Book," which got me totally addicted to the life and time of Bigfoot. Both were funny, and more or less the same book (and just about exactly the same length too, isn't that kind of neat). However, I honestly thing "Me Write Book" was funnier by leaps and bounds. But that's like saying I found a bigger brick of gold.

Love this book. It's an instant classic.

My suggestion: do not hide it away on a bookshelf. Place this book on your coffee table--guests will not be able to put it down.

This is a hilarious book. It's a must read. Although it was a quick read, I found it very enjoyable.
