5.0 out of 5 stars Bigfoot War
After reading many other authors version of bigfoot stories I was skeptical about this one. HOWEVER,,,,,This book rocked from start to finish. On my kindle, I was only 23% through the first book when I ordered Bigfoot War 2. It is a faced paced, action packed, well told THRILLER with no one even close to compare to. 3.0 out of 5 stars Frightfully Fun
A great yarn of a book that will keep you smiling from start to finish. Its' all out Bloody Violence is never ending and enjoyable. The story itself is very B-Movie Horror and half way through the reader soon realises that there is not going to be any twists or turns, just more blood and guts, (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

I will read the 2nd and 3rd...

If you grew up scaring your self reading bigfoot books and watching "Boggy Creek" You will not be dissapointed. Eric Brown is my new favorite author. I prefer his writing style over Stephen King and Dean Koontz. He does not bore you to death with every detail of a character but gives you enough information to connect and feel you know them. Plus with this body count characters don't live long ennough to care what brand of toothpast they use. You will not be dissapointed. I have over 40 books on my kindle since I got it and this is the first time I have been compelled to give a review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like a really great B-movie, February 3, 2011
This review is from: Bigfoot War (Kindle Edition)
Ridiculously violent and fun, this story is like a really great B-movie you'd recommend to your friends without a hint of irony. I didn't count, but I would bet the body count outdoes Commando. Sure, this is not a literary masterpiece but rather it delivers exactly what you'd expect from something called Bigfoot War.

5.0 out of 5 stars IT DELIVERS!!!!, November 24, 2011

Most horror novels promise to be scary, but BIG FOOT WARS actually delivered!

Although I prefer to read psychological thrillers, I do crave a good horror every now and again. The last truly scary book I think I read was Rosemary's Baby. But Bigfoot Wars rivals it.

I was hooked from the first few pages and remained so until the end. Eric is a gifted storyteller. I now totally understand why he has such an amazing fan base.

I highly recommend to any fan of horror!

5.0 out of 5 stars I was afraid!, November 22, 2011
This review is from: Bigfoot War (Kindle Edition)
I was afraid! Afraid that the "King of the Zombies" from North Carolina got stuck in a "Boggy Creek" somewhere in the Smokey Mountains! But, to my Surprise; Eric S. Brown has ventured into the forest of a new Genre'! Taking his unsuspecting followers straight through the forest right into the middle of a "Bigfoot War!" Full of Nail Biting Suspence, Mindless Animalisic Gore and Bloodshed of both man and beast. Not your Grandma's Gentle Sasquatch! Kudos Eric, can't wait to read Bigfoot War 2: Dead in the Woods!

5.0 out of 5 stars Big Foot War, July 8, 2011
This review is from: Bigfoot War (Paperback)
As engrossing as it is wonderfully graphic, Big Foot War, is incredibly suspenseful. It has a great beginning and a thrilling climax. What a charge it was to come upon such a good story teller. Eric Brown has to be one of the best horror writers that I've ever encountered.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bigfoot Wars and havok go hand in hand!, June 14, 2011

Eric S. Brown's Bigfoot War is a quick and grisly read. Incredibly fast-paced, it never lets up on the action. The story moves along so quickly, in fact, that you end up questioning the writers sanity; Is he crazy? Is he a genius? Is he both?! Other questions you'll want answers to are; How can it end here?! Why couldn't the town be bigger?! How could be have upped the body count?! I don't know the answers to these questions, my friends, but I can tell you this: Bigfoot War was so good, I turned right around and ordered the sequel! Thanks you for the crazy ride, Eric! Can't wait to read the next one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Close to Home, May 16, 2011

Growing up in Wyoming, Bigfoot has always fascinated and frightened me. It was a comfort to know that he was elusive and shy. That way, there would be no chance of running into him. Mr. Brown's Bigfoot is nothing like that. He is violent and vicious and takes no prisoners. "Bigfoot War" is a fast-paced story that explores a different side of the creature. If you like action and carnage, this book is definitely for you! It was a page-turner filled with surprises and gore at every turn, but it was done with class and style.

5.0 out of 5 stars Action!, April 13, 2011

I love books and movies that open up with action scenes. If one is creating a work of adventure, the best way is to start in midst of the melee. Eric Brown does that with BIGFOOT WAR! The first words unfold to put the reader right in the middle of flat-out adventure, action, violence, and an adrenaline rush of sound and emotion. In addition, Mr. Brown seems to have an instinctive understanding of how to put fiction down on the page. The construction of the book and how it moves is purely professional and inspired. He knows how to craft an effective novel!

Highly recommended, especially if you're a horror/action junkie (like me)!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bigfoot is Back!, April 5, 2011
This review is from: Bigfoot War (Paperback)
Eric S. Brown's Bigfoot War takes the soft lovable caricature that Bigfoot has
become in recent years and adds teeth, claws, and bloodlust. This isnt the
Weekly World News version of the creature that amuses us with a wink and a
nudge. Brown's creature, instead, casts aside the "man in a monkey suit" ideal
we've grown used to and gives us a new reason to fear the woods. El Chupacabra
and the Jersey Devil should be wary. Bigfoot has reclaimed his place as king of
the cryptids!
