Biography

Rich Boy is the US-born rapper who hit the Top 10 with this debut single “Throw Some D’s”.

Maurice Richards (aka Rich Boy) opted for rhymes rather than wrenches when he dropped out of engineering class at college to pursue his music career. Demo tapes brought him to the attention of Ludacris’ manger Polow da Don, and Rich Boy won a contract for his debut album. While he worked on material for his… Read more in Amazon's Rich Boy Store

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, February 11, 2009

This is a good quality mixtape release. But, this is not an official album by Rich Boy but, that doesn't bring down the value of the product. The lyrics or so-so with Rich Boy we all know that, but he picks great beats to let his Alabama pride out on. Overall its a great cd to get if you want something to hit hard and keep the hi's tickin.

Best Songs:
Rollin Rollin
Wrist Out Da Window
Buried Alive

4.0 out of 5 stars A Monster of a Album, November 11, 2008

Rich Boy has done it again with a monster of an album. His initial release should only be viewed as a prelude to this album. Again his deep south slang stands out above the rest. There are a couple of more collaboration than before, Trae and Lloyd are great guest on "Ghetto Queen" which boldly stands out as an anthem to black women. I'm not an official rater but I can say this. The album is great from start to finish. "Monster of a Chevy" has to be on the the best tracks on the album.
