Steve has won a media award from the UFA and IAFF. Steve is a former NYC EMS EMT. He lives on long Island, N.Y. with his wife and 2 daughters.

Steve is an independent Photographer who has been published in most of the major New York City Newspapers. He is an Honorary Deputy Chief with the FDNY. Steve donates his photos and videos to the FDNY for use in it's publications and for training purposes. Steve is a former Emergency Medical Technician for the NYC Emergency Medical Service. He has been photographing fires and disasters for more than 30 years. Steve is a self published author whose speciality is photo books. "NY Lifesavers" ( 1992)) was his first book. His 2nd book, " Mayday, Mayday, Mayday, The Day the Towers Fell", (2003) published by Xlibris, was his 2nd book. His Createspace titles include " Shea Farewell" Images of the Demolition of Shea Stadium, "Ground Zero Heroes", "Forgotten 911", "Biggest Blazes" Fire and Rescue Photography, Steve is currently working on his next photo book, "Going, Going, Gone" Images of the Demolition of Yankee Stadium.

My best Fire and Rescue images. Spectacular Fires and Rescues taken over 30 years in the NYC metropolitan area. Lots of these photos made the covers of Firehouse, Fire Engineering and WNYF magazines. Many have been published in the NY Daily News, NY Post, Newsday, AP and others.
WARNING! Some of the images in this book are graphic. (The rescue of a Boy that was Impaled on a fence). Some of these images have been used for training purposes.
