This cd had it all:
1.Home-a great song describin' Diffie's home

2.If You Want Me To- an okay song, a slow one

3.If The Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets)- a funny song that is a classic #1

4.New Way (To Light Up An Old Flame)- I love this one, an uptempo love song

5.Is It Cold In Here- a nice slow tempo song

6.Ships That Don't Come In- a moving song about heroes that wait for "ships that don't come in"

7.Honky Tonk Attitude- this song will give you a friday-night get-right honky tonk attitude!

8.Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox (If I Die)- one of his best, another funny song about what he wants IF he dies:
"Prop me up beside the jukebox if I die
Lord I wanna go to heaven but I don't wanna go tonight
fill my boots up with sand put a stiff drink in my hand
prop me up beside the jukebox if I die"

9.John Deere Green- another funny one, about a boy writing on the town water tower in john deere green to show his love:

10.Third Rock From The Sun- another funny one, it'll get you dancing about the crazy happenin's on Earth!:

11.Pickup Man-a hilarious one, I'd like to see other great songs by whoever wrote this! about somethin' women loike about a guy with a pickup truck, a hilaroius chorus:

But I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe DeVille
It's got an eight foot bed that never has to be made
You know if it weren't for trucks we wouldn't have tailgates

13.Bigger Than The Beatles- another great lyriced song that made #1:

OVERALL THIS CD IS TERRIFIC, but one bad thing is that there is no lyrics or anything good in the cd booklet!
ANYWAYS this cd deserves more than 5 stars!

There's no denying that Joe Diffie has a wonderful and unique voice. I've seen him in concert and met him eight times in the past seven years. The enthusiasm and energy he and his band (Heartbreak Highway) put into the show is amazing. I just wish he would receive more recognition than he gets. He's very talented and down-to-earth!

There are many memorable songs on here like, "Ships That Don't Come In," "Is It Cold In Here," "So Help Me Girl," "A Night To Remember" and "Texas Size Heartache." Then, there are some fun, upbeat ones, like "Honky Tonk Attitude," "Pickup Man," "Third Rock From the Sun," "Bigger Than The Beatles," "Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox" and the catchy "It's Always Somethin'."

This CD and any other album by Joe are highly recommended to all country music fans!

I have got numerous Joe Diffie tracks but all either guesting on someone else's album or as a duet with someone. After hearing 'Third Rock From The Sun' on Country Music shows a few times I decide to splash out on an album.

16 BIGGEST HITS is great stuff. A great voice with a hint of and a little in the style of Alan Jackson. All the songs are very good, whether or not they have been smash hits. If you dig Country and want to build up a definitive collection then this one is a must.

Joe Diffee's songs hit at your heart, with his songs about going home again, lost loves, and just "hangin' out". This CD contains the stirring "Night to Remember", which is destined to become a classic. "Night to Remember" is truly one of the saddest, yet most beautiful country songs I've ever heard. This CD contains his good time songs and soulful ballads. I always considered the great Mac Davis to be the godfather of country soul, but "Regular Joe" may have dethroned Mac of that title. I listen to this CD virtually everyday on my drive home from work, and I've owned it almost 6 months. If you enjoy country or southern rock style music, I recommend this CD be added to your collection.

I added this CD to my cart as a present to myself when I was Christmas shopping for everybody else this season. I've listened to it everyday since I recieved in the mail! It takes me right back to the 90's when I was in middle and high school when I fell in love with country music. Honky Tonk Attitude, John Deere Green, Pickup Man, Texas Sized Heartache... these songs bring back so many memories... like country line dancing and having bonfire parties and riding with my boyfriend in the combine while he harvested soybeans! This CD is an absolute nessecity if you were a country fan in the 90's! Joe Diffie is a country music icon and I love his music!

love this cd!!!! it's got all the great j.d. classic honkytonk songs with all his love ballads!!! best just to put it on repeat ;)

Well done and well put together. I originally got this after listening to the samples for my husband's band to pull covers from it. Now its in my Corvette CD changer as some extra fun driving music. Don't just get it for "John Deere Green", go for "Home", and "Honky Tonk Attitude", and "So Help Me Girl", and "Pickup Man".

Joe Diffie is a treasure and we've just found one of his chests of jewels.

What a voice! Joe Diffe has been compared with the great Eddie Arnold for the smooth and controlled way he sings his songs. I love hearing him.
I feel that all CD's are over-priced though and for that reason I give only three stars.
