I bought this to give to my mother as a gift. She doesn't have much use for a big blender and likes small, easy to clean items. This fit the bill. We were surprised at the gusto it had. She mostly uses it for salad dressing, but is able to drop cloves of garlic in and they get chopped up really nicely. She gave it two thumbs up.

I love this blender. I bought a average size blender (oster brand) and omgosh! I took it back the same day. What a useless piece of crud. I came across this at Ross, the box was damaged and it was listed for only $20 so I figured it was cheap enough. I love this blender!!!! It has so much power and can puree things with the quickeness.
