Just FYI if you think you are going to workout to this CD, you may not like it. It really is a soundtrack of random music. Must be songs played during some shows? I do like the song that is used for the theme music.

I have 3 other Biggest Loser cardio CDs and love them. This CD is not what I expected. I should have realized it wasn't for a cardio workout when I didn't see the beats per minute for any of the songs, but I wasn't paying attention.

This CD was designed for a workout that is in the liner notes booklet. The first two songs (7:21) are the warm-up (mostly stretches in the booklet) so they are pretty slow. The next six songs (21:45) are the workout which is a rotation of 10 different exercises you do for one minute each and then repeat the sequence. The next three songs (11:36) are a series of abdominal and body conditioning exercises and the last two songs (8:04) are for stretch and cool down. There is no talking on the CD so you could do whatever exercises you want during it, but most of it is not fast enough for a good cardio workout.

I have this 3-disc set The Biggest Loser Workout Mix Top 40 Hits (3 Disc Set) and it gets me walking at a good pace. You can buy those as separate CDs but it is cheaper to buy the 3 disc set.

Not a workout CD, just a song collection. Not constant tempo. Not very inspiring/motivating songs. Buy this because you like the songs, not because you want something to exercise to. I was going to use it for my class, but after hearing song samples, put it back on the shelf.
