The bike rack will carry a couple of bikes but the quality is pretty poor. Very cheaply made, very bad 'paint' that flakes off when you tighten any of the bolts. Rusts instantly (Really!!!) Some of the bolt holes do not hold the bolts properly for tightening, so you will probably need a vice-grips for assembly.

You will need to add padding to the vertical posts that you fasten the bikes to unless you don't mind scratching up your bikes.

Figure on a can of gloss black spray enamel to touch up anywhere a tool touches and padding for the uprights and you will have a functional bike rack. Takes about 30 minutes to assemble if you work reasonably fast.

- All the bolts, nuts, and pins were corroding within the first week.
- The mounting portion of the rack is made of plastic, was smaller than advertised, and fit loosely into the hitch mount.
- One adult and one kid bike was too much weight; twisted the vertical post about 10 degrees to one side.
- The hold down straps for the bike have to be pulled through rubberized loops that were beginning to show signs of stress after only a few uses. My guess is that they'd be broken before the end of the summer.

What more can I say...cheap junk, don't waste you money.
