This original video started the Bike-O-Vision craze! Don't worry if the camera work gets a little bit bumpy over cobblestones and ageless country roads, because it's a fascinating mini-collection of journeys you won't want to miss. You'll cycle Alpine meadows in Austria, a cute Alsacian (French) village, race a barge up the Rhine River near the famous Loreley in Germany, then ride along the Italian Riviera paradise of Portofino, through the Brecon Beacons of Wales and into the English Cotswold Hills region. All video was taken in glorious Springtime in April through May. These rides are generally shorter than most of our other videos.

I love to cycle but I haven't been able to cycle in Europe yet so this is a way to do it. This DVD is really great, and now I have the whole series. The European Sampler is shortest of their videos, only 35 minutes instead of 75, but it is definitely packed with many good places to "visit" in Europe. The Bike-O-Vision cycling workout videos are a great compliment to indoor cycling because the forward motion views keep you pushing forward in your workout. Definitely a different perspective then looking at a TV program or a static outside view. I now have all their videos and use them for daily workouts. There are a lot of DVD rides so I never get bored. I've recommended the series to my cycling friends and they have liked them also. These videos don't have ongoing commentaries or graphs on the screen which I actually prefer.

This is a great way to tour different parts of Europe and have fun indoor cycling at the same time. All of the Bike-O-Vision DVDs are fantastic journeys and I am particulary fond of the Zion Nat Park & So. Utah, Nevada, Sedona, California Wine Country, and Puerto Rico adventures. I like to alternate these with the Spinerval (Troy Jacobson) DVDs, especially the Cycling with Iron Girl.

What a perfect way to learn and see great travel footage while working out! I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, but I was pleasently surprised. Basically it's just really nice footage of scenic driving and biking routes set to music. I have a television right in front of my exercise bike, and I even watch it from the tread mill. Keep 'em coming!
