Handlebars are a personal comfort item, so what works for me, may not work for you. I put these on my Bandit 1200 and like them very much. As far as the purchase goes, the order was placed effortlessly and shipped quickly, 2 days quicker than I'd anticipated.

Bought this for my 09 650R, works like a charm, about 1k miles on these bars so far. sportier feel after installing this, definitely feel more responsive. You do have to drill the holes yourself tho. there's also slight vibration, but goes away after using heavier bar ends. Highly recommended if the original upright riding position is not for you. heck, for the price, if you don't like it, you can always go back to stock and it won't punch a big hole in your wallet.

I have an '81 Yamaha 850 Special. Back in the old days, Japanese makers offered versions of their motorcycles styled to resemble Harley Davidsons. Peanut tanks, sometimes extended forks, stepped seats, and pullback or "buckhorn" handlebars. These parts were applied to the regular motorcycles in hopes of appealing to the Harley wannabe buyer. Yamaha's version of this trend was called a "Special".

I bought my Special in April of this year. I don't like the look at all, but the price was right and other than the silly styling, it's a standard XS850.

The buckhorn bars though, bugged me. They looked ridiculous, made my wrists hurt, and forced me to adopt a straight up riding stance that wasn't comfortable for my back.

The Daytona bars, however have made this Special live up to its name. The bike handles MUCH better now. The riding position is more comfortable as well. I had to get a little creative when routing my clutch and throttle cables, but I knew I'd have to do that.

The stock mirrors don't work with the Daytona bars, so last night I installed bar-end mirrors (see separate review).

I just wish I'd purchased these bars sooner. Great product, great price!

I own a 2004 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS which I bought new. The bike came with these wide straight handlebars that really hurt my elbows for some reason.
Ducati put out a whole catalog of accessories for the Multistrada; over priced do-dads, carbon fiber this and that, etc. You can purchase 2 types of carbon fiber wheels for the bike, but do you think Ducati or their deals would sell different handlebars? No way.
These Daytona handle bars made by BikeMaster look exactly like the OEM Bars but are about an inch narrower and are pulled back about an inch and a half. The difference for me was like night and day!!! Best of all the first Daytona handle bars I bought were about $16.00; NOTHING from the Ducati Dealer is $16.
I'm back for another set of Bike master bars due to a little mishap. I think the handle bars were $19.00 now; a bargain!
BikeMaster Daytona handlebars are awesome!

These bars are really great quality, very high quality chrome finish! This is far and away the best deal for this style handlbar and this quality. That being said I purchased the clubman bars for my 1983 honda cb650sc nighthawk, I do wish I purchased a different style becouse these don't fit my bike in the intended way and honestly wouldn't with out a lot of modifying I don't really want to do, this isn't bike masters fault at all. What I did is I flipped them upside down, I get the basic look, not as good but still looks pretty sweet and puts me in a more comfortable position compared to the stock bars! Just be aware the clubman bars might not fit your bike due to the size of the motorcycle tank and the clearance between the bars and break line and throttle.

I bought these bars for my 1979 Suzuki GS1000E. The bend and overall dimensions were identical to those on my 1980 GS1000S and I wanted to duplicate the feel of the 1000S on my recently acquired 1000E.

I was a little wary of these only because they were so inexpensive. When they arrived I was a little surprised to see that they were nicely packaged. The bars themselves are every bit as good as the factory bars on my GS1000S and they are a perfect match and I was able to achieve the results I was after in terms of riding position. To think that I could have paid several times as much as I did for these for no reason other than a name brand - I'm glad I bought the BikeMaster bars instead.

The Daytona bars have a 3 inch rise. Not the over 4 inch rise as stated in the product features. Otherwise a good bar. I wish it had knurled bar mounts, but it works anyway. I like the look and feel of the Daytona bar so I decided to keep them. I purchased 1.2 inch bar risers to resolve the problem of the bars being too low. Seller was very fast. I got the bars deliverd to my front door the day after the order. Not bad for free shipping.

Once I found a site that showed precise measurements for the bars I wanted, I was able to order. Too bad the picture included doesn't show the different options individually, so I had to visualize what they would look like. I had to drill my own holes to accommodate the throttle and clutch bosses, though. That was a bit tricky, but it was more because I was drilling through good, hard steel.

Overall, I'm very satisfied for the price.

Great handlebar for the price. But Renthal bars have spoiled me with their coating. For the black painted Bikemaster bars at least, the paint finish is delicate. Just sliding on and clamping my new hardware onto the bars leave scuffs and scratches. So if you plan on moving your controls at any point, either get used to this slight issue for a bargain or spend extra for the Renthal road bars
