4.0 out of 5 stars Duplicate Book of Short Bikes Rides in North Carolina, August 31, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Road Biking North Carolina (Paperback)
Do not buy this book and Short Bike Rides - North Carolina. Out of the 40 rides in this book, 25 are near duplicates of those in Short Bike Rides - North Carolina. Another 6 are longer versions. Giving author's statement "What a difficult Task - selecting only fortyrides for this book. There could easily have been twice that many.", the duplication (including most of preface & introduction) is a travesty.

This book has improved maps and layout. There are references for bike shops, restaurants, accommodations, and rest rooms(!). The rides also vary more in length.
