This big heavy book was practically useless to me, a music teacher who teaches young children in Spanish. The vast majority of the rhymes and songs were originally English language, just translated into Spanish, with a handful of original Spanish ones translated into English. There was no clear index that distinguished the two types, and the book was so large that I was overwhelmed at the task of searching every page to ferret out the originals. And without the written music, how is anyone supposed to sing the songs? A waste of my time, money, and bookshelf space--I wouldn't even give this away.

This book have a ton of rhymes, short stories, etc. The boy that cried wolf in spanish and english, tortoise wins a race and many other which I have never heard of. I wish there were tune suggestions with the book because sometimes I can not quite figure out how the song would go.

A well planned and organized book, big and full of translated kids stories and rhymes.

This book has a lot of stories, rhymes and songs, but first it should come with a cd to hear the rhythm of the songs, it's really a waist of time with the songs if you don't know the rhythm. Second sometimes the traduction is not very accurate. That's why I don't highly recommend this book

As a native Spanish speaker I do not recommend this book. I even found a major spelling error ! The translations are poor and the choice of songs/rhymes are extracted from English ones. I was excited to buy it , but had to return it.

I absolutely love this book! I checked it out of the library and now am looking to purchase it to have for myself. The stories etc are great, reminds me of my childhood and I love having the Spanish version on one side, and the English on the other. It's a great way to learn a language.
