This book is of utmost necessity and reference for anyone in the advertising business. It is out of print and hard to find, just like the good ideas it contains. Original, funny, intelligent. Bill Bernbach made a career for a reason !

The greatest copywriter/ad-man of all time figured it out for the rest of us. Tell the truth, make it interesting, and say it a different way. No other book tells the story as well as this one does. This is the book to have in your library. When you get your copy, hold onto it for dear livelihood.

This is one of the best books I have read. It contains a wealth of advertising wisdom. Bill Bernbach is perhaps the best advertising man the industry has had.

This book was written because the man who wrote the book on advertising never wrote a book on advertising.

So Bob Levenson wrote BILL BERNBACH'S BOOK. Bob is the brilliant Doyle Dane Bernbach writer who brought Bernbach's principles to life - with ground breaking ads like the original VW campaign of the '60's.

This is the place to find the real story of how one ad agency changed advertising from dull, patronizing, even dishonest to human, accessible, totally authentic and often funny as hell.
It is also a beautiful catalog of that great work, those fabulous ads done by Bob and some of his colleagues at DDB - I'm sure there's no where else you can see them so gorgeously presented in one place.

This is simply a must-have book for anyone in the advertising business or considering it. Or for anyone who wants to see how advertising can truly be art - when so much of it, now and then, is nothing more than8 pollution.

Yes, it's out of print, shamefully, but there are sellers with copies of it. I'd sell you mine, but my copy and then another, were blatantly pinched.

Get your hands on this book anyway you can - save from stealing it, you'll break someone's heart - and you will wonder as I do, when do we get to see Bob's book on Bob?
