Very good re-mix of classic Bill Black songs. I remember listening to these on an old record player as a kid. The sound on the CD is great. I also like the break from vocals and enjoy the fact that it's all instrumental. The greatest hits portion is what you would expect, with that bluesy, jazzy, heavy bass feel. The western portion just seems out of place because it's definitely western! Not being a big fan of western music I wouldn't have bought just the western songs. However, I would have bought the greatest hits anyway, so if you like western music, you get a bonus. Even if you don't, the rest of it is well worth the price.

Been trying to find Bill Black combo in the stores for years, but it just can't be found on the shelves any more. Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my father-in-law. HE LOVED IT! The DVD contains fun songs that take you back to the roller-skating rink days when times were slower and life was easier. A joy to listen to!

I have had the record since I was 5 Now I am 18 and I have the CD and it's great!!!
