This review is from: Bill Clinton: As They Know Him : An Oral Biography (Paperback)
It is hard to believe there was a time when we did not know the real Bill Clinton.
The book attempts to garner a full portrait of Bill Clinton just as he was to assume the Presidency. David Gallen digs deep in Arkansas to friends and foes and asked the question "who is the real Bill Clinton?" What you get is a young man in a hurry who was hungry to succeed but also had an ability to connect with those who shared his passion. The infamous FOB (Friends of Bill) are loyal and supportive this favorite son who made it to the political mountain top. |
