The first page is available here. I read it, and discovered that if I was to buy this book, I would need to explain "kidnap, rape, and killing" to my 9-year-old. I prefer not to find that kind of detail in a book listed for 9 - 12 year olds.

This review is from: The Bill of Rights (Cornerstones of Freedom) (Paperback)
Here's a way to get the young ones in your family interested in history. "The Bill of Rights (Cornerstones of Freedom)" is an introductory 32-page book that discusses the first ten amendments to the constitution and the rights which they are intended to protect and touches on Miranda rights, written in a language that children understand.
