Go ahead... just try to score on Bill Russell. This defensive monster made opponents fear him every time they tried to shoot. His energy on the court and basketball purity is what a coach can only dream of finding in a player. Few players could even comprehend the success his NBA teams achieved. With Russell manning the middle of a Legendary Boston Celtics Dynasty, he managed to collect 11 NBA championships in his 13 NBA seasons. This video contains rare video footage of Russell awing the crowd with his defensive dominance. Follow his career with game film starting at the University of San Francisco through his honors at retirement in the Boston Garden. This feature only lasts twentyone minutes, which is lousy for $19,50 (and, in my case, $18,50 for shipping and handling). The feature itself is mostly an interview. Very few scenes can be seen The feature was originally on videotape, at least, that's what the quality looks like.
All in all, this is a major rip-off. Of course, there is hardly any footage of Russell available, so the little that is there has to be bought dearly. Still, this is too little DVD for too much money.
