The songs are fine, but there is no way to tell how close you are to the next lyric when in between verses. Unless you know the songs it can be tough to track. Many other competitors have ...s or something to signal how close you are to the next verse.

The music is not the original artists but is music "made famous by the original artist" and is only evident once you read the fine print. It seems a bit dishonest to use the Billboard Top 10 as a selling vehicle. I rated the item a 4 because the music is ok and after all it is Karaoke. Worst of all is the price--I found these at Walmart for $30.

I'm surprised by the ho-hum reviews. We have both this volume and volume 2 and I think they're great. The music is good quality, the lyrics display correctly. Of course it's not the exact version from the radio-- not sure why someone would expect that (buy the real CD!). But the vocal tracks (11-20) sound pretty darned close to the original and the karaoke tracks are strong. Much better than a lot of the tinny garbage that's out there otherwise.

Very entertaining for everyone in our family-- ages 5-65. My husband and I rock out on Sonny and Cher. I've forbidden "Baby Got Back" (how many times can you hear "I like big butts and I cannot lie..." out of your kindergarteners mouth before it gets very old?), but pretty much everything else goes for our kids.

We ordered this for our campground, which has karaoke night on holiday weekends, and the variety was spectacular!

You will probably be disappointed when the lyrics don't pop up for you singers in some of the CDs. It is a great assortment of songs but the graphics are week as well as the issue with the lyrics.

The graphics do not play well in my Singing Machine. The lyrics scroll but then overlap with previous lyrics or scroll in some illegible format. All of the "Party Tyme" CD+Gs have the same problem on my machine. I thought it was the machine so I took it back and replaced it. No, it's the discs. A piece of paper with the words would be better. The music backgrounds are OK.

This karaoke set has great music, but the graphics are HORRIBLE! If you have a Singing Machine, don't buy this CD! Such a poorly made product from such a well-known brand. Disappointing at the very least. I'm furious to find out my "RETURN WINDOW" just expired YESTERDAY. Unhappy customer for sure.

CD #1 had the lyrics that printed across the screen like a normal karaoke CD, but CD's 2-4 had no lyrics. I guess it was a defective product. I returned it.

This karaoke CD has a great variety of songs to sing to. Our family is having a blast singing along. The item was shipped really quickly too!

This CD does live up to it reviews. It is an excellent compilation of the decades passed. i love it. A must have for any karaoke r.
