Good country music.,

Buck Owens was HOT-HOT-HOT! in 1965.
He had four number one hits that year, and claimed the biggest song of the year with 'Before you go'. This was Owens seventh number one hit. The track listing, including artist. 1. 'King of the road' -- Roger Miller. 2. 'I've got a tiger by the tail' -- Buck Owens. 3. 'I'll keep holding on (just to your love) -- Sonny James. 4. 'Girl on the billboard' -- Del Reeves. 5. 'Truck drivin' son-of-a-gun' -- Dave Dudly. 6. 'Make the world go away' -- Eddy Arnold. 7. 'Before you go' -- Buck Owens. 8. 'Behind the tear' -- Sonny James. 9. 'This is it' -- Jim Reeves. 10.'Buclaroo' -- Buck Owens & The Buckaroos. (an instrumental) 'Only you' was Owens forth number one hit in 1965, but it didn't get included in this set. Good old fashioned country music. All original recordings, from Rhino/Wea in 1990. |
