4.0 out of 5 stars A unique collection., June 21, 2004

This review is from: Billboard Top Movie Hits: 1970s (Soundtrack Anthology) (Audio CD)
This disc is really a trip down memory lane. Even if you haven't seen some of the movies, the songs are still recognizable. Who hasn't seen "Star Wars", "Rocky", and "Close Encounters"? A few of these may be known only to film-buffs, like the instrumental "Midnight Cowboy", or the almost creepy "Dueling Banjos", both films staring "Jon Voight". And me being a big "Clint Eastwood" fan, I do like having "Every Which Way But Loose" also. Overall, this is a cool thing to play "name that tune" with, and should be enjoyed by anyone over 30.
