The Billiard Guidebook throughly covers the structure of billiard (pool) tables and equipment, their maintenance (including moving, ideal room size, leveling, replacing the cloth and cushions, etc.) and table specifications, as well as game fundamentals and rules.
I was born in Indianapolis years ago. I grew up on the east side of Columbus, Indiana and attended Columbus North High.
After three years in the US Army's 101 airborne division jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and working on Huey helicopters, I married, had two daughters, and then attended Indiana University's School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana.
After IU, I opened a 24 table poolroom in Columbus where I played on, sold, and serviced a variety of new, used, and antique pool tables.
In 1982, we moved to Arizona where I remain in the pool table service and repair business, and continue to play.
I now have four billiard related books available on amazon.com with a novel (pool and mayhem) on its way.
