a great love story,

What a couple! From the moment Emily and Mark are together I'm rooting for them. This is a romance story that can easily be read in a day and worth the investment. It's a page turner where I was desperate to find out what happens next, She's beautiful and he's just hot, what's not to love. And the passion between them; wow! If you want to be taken away from the hum drum; the Billionaire falls will do the trick, and with the cancellation of All My Children; this is my next best soap opera.

I really liked the story behind this book. Even though the book had editing issues, after a while, they didn't seem to bother me as much. This is the third book about the Anderson's in which Joseph was desperate to get grandkids and wanted his three bachelor son's to settle down. The first two books were about Mark's older brothers and how they found their wives and were blissfully married. It was actually their father's matchmaking that brought them together. This is the Mark's story at finding love. Even though he swore not to fall into the marriage trap like his brothers had done, he was a bit jealous of the relationship his brothers had with their wives. He had a longing for something more, but he didn't know exactly what was missing in his life. He had a job he loved to do.When his son's cook quit, Joseph takes matters into his own hands to find his son the "perfect" live in cook. Her name was Emily. She seemed like a nice young woman, her 5 year old son was adorable, she was ab excellent cook and she to top it off, was attractive. He knew his son would not stand a chance. When Emily shows up to work, she cannot believe how attractive her boss was. Even though she felt the attraction, she didn't want to lose her job. It was a great job with excellent benefits and her son was loving it! Mark felt the chemistry, yet didn't know how to approach her, she was his employee after all, and her son was adorable. I loved the interation between the siblings and their spouses. It was nice to catch up with them, felt like a huge continuos story. It was nice to see how Mark and Emily's relationship grew and how they were falling in love with each other. It was a nice easy read and a good instalment of this fun family.

Another amazing book. This was a little different from the other two. The only thing different was that Mark did not fight to much in not admitting his Love to Emily like the other two brothers. Another short story BUT so WORTH it. Emily and Mark forever. Wish to read more of the amazing Anderson family.

O.K. they were free Kindle downloads... So, since my investment was time, they were o.k. This last story of the Anderson boys was bogged down with the same problems as the previous two... Characters referred to by the wrong name, repeatedly calling a foal a fowl... and some of the descriptions are beyond over the top... Looking out her window and seeing HUNDREDS of horses in the pasture... HUNDREDS ?!? On a cattle ranch...
My biggest complaint with this book is the lead up to the big dramatic confrontation... **********SPOILERS!!! Why did we care who the stalker was? He was never seen before, the confrontation was anticlimatic, and the entire plot device was just that... a plot device. It wasn't necessary. I appreciate that the author is enamored of a rich lifestyle, and that these men have more money than Bill Gates, are better looking than Ryan Reynolds and their wives are some sort of cross between Heidi Klum and Giada DeLaurrentis... but seriously, a little dose of realism is not unheard of here... Do I regret the investment of time on these books, not really... though the inner proofreader in me wanted to attack my Kindle with a red pen... Would I have regretted this had I actually paid for the books... Yeah, probably... Would I download more from this author if they were free, yeah... Probably...

Last brother's story is pretty good,

This is the final youngest brother's story in the Billionaire series by Ms. Melody Anne.
Mark's story is interesting because he falls for a single mother who starts working as the cook for his ranch. Once again, the father hires some one he thinks is a perfect mate for his son (like the first book) but this time it is different because there is a stalker situation in this story. I have strong feelings about stalkers and obsessed people so I do not like to read about those themes in stories as they are all too easy a plot device and are usually not well written. I have personal experience with a crazy obsessed stalker so I feel particularly close to that subject matter, and once again, it was not well developed in this story. Then again, this is light romance so that is fine with me. I would have liked to see the silly joker clown personality Mark that had shown up in the earlier books, and he made an appearance when his brothers were around. The best scenes are the interactions with the brothers, those were wonderfully natural and fun.

By far my favorite of the series,
This review is from: The Billionaire Falls (Billionaire Bachelors - Book Three) (Kindle Edition)
If I thought I liked the first two books, this one surpasses them by far. Mark is so much more gentle and sweet than his other brothers and he's just what Emily needs. The connection between them is wonderful and the way Mark takes to little Jacob is extremely heart warming. Loved the setting of the ranch and how Mark was more interested in ranching than the corporate business world like his other brothers - says a lot about his personality. I enjoyed the fun closeness the brothers share and think Melody Anne does an great job portraying the Anderson family as one who who is a close, down to earth family even with all the money they have. I could read this book 10 more times and not get tired of it. I hope she writes 50 more like it. I'll read them ALL.

The author's obvious grammatical mistakes get tired fast. She depends too much on spell check. Advice get an skilled editor!!
Cloths instead of clothes multiple times in the book. Yes cloths is spelled correctly but is not the correct word. Chunky cheese instead of Chuck E. Cheese when they took the kids to a restaurant.

-Read On Kindle-((GRAPHIC SEX SCENES, NOT for young teens to read)) PLOT: Emily has a son from a bad marriage and her former in-laws are trying to get custody of him since her husband died. She goes on the run to avoid losing him in a corrupt court battle. She ends up in northern WA and gets a job as a cook at a billionaire's ranch-mansion. She and billionaire are instantly attracted to each other and start to fall in love. Meanwhile, she feelings like someone is watching her and she begins getting strange love notes that appear to be from a stalker. Eventually, she and Mark the billionaire get married and are able to get full custody of her son, and the stalker issue is resolved. The live happily ever after. Flaws: It feels like there's no outside editing. Like the author read it over to themselves a few times. There is a TON of repetitive descriptions. The plot is hardly believable. A lot of the wrong word being used; 'to' instead of 'too', etc. The author chose to place the story on a horse ranch, yet doesn't appear to have been around horses. They spell "foal" as "fowl" every time in the book, so apparently the mare had a baby bird. Every man is described multiple times as "sexy" and all the women are "curvy". Every few sentences someone is sexy or curvy. There are tons of sex scenes. I wouldn't have minded more building up and plot in and around them. There is an entire chapter that is just sex scenes. No plot progression in it. It's not the worst ever, but I wouldn't pay money for it. Got it on a free promotion. |
