This is a gripping story of a charming nogoodnik, always on the fringe of trouble, but now caught in the middle of something serious. The author does a good job of capturing the flavors of a seamy Brooklyn neighborhood and its colorful characters. A very good read. (Review written by FoxyLoxy)
