This has got to be one of the best Billy Bunter books and that's saying a lot because all of them are so good! Like many other BB fans, I grew up reading the exploits of the Fat Owl of the Remove (as Billy Bunter is also called). What sets this apart from the rest is that its even funnier with laughs in nearly every page. There's no Quelch except in the first few pages, and as we are taken from Greyfriars school through the English countryside, we are treated to tramps, gentleman farmers, crusty squires, cheesed-off cart drivers bent on revenge and much more. Its a pity that these books are out of print...or are they?
