Funny, informative, historical, sad and refreshing. A good read for all people that are fans of the Big Yin or just enjoy a good yarn or a travel story. Inspired me to do the same and have placed the Route 66 tour in my bucket list.

Entertaining book . However not Connolly's usual great humour .
Should have had some more comic reading added . It certainly
didn't encourage me to travel that route, but I am sure it is a truthful
assessment of the places visited along the way. Some good historical
information in the book . When I think of Billy I think FUNNY , so I was a little
disappointed . Great holiday reading.

My time with the book of Billy Connolly's Route 66 left me with a sense of awe and wonderment for the open road of life. I hope others could delve into such a wonderful text and find the meaning behind their actions. It has always been a dream of mine to travel the Route and rediscover the heart of American Culture. Billy paints an illustrated lens into the differing regions along the Route with their cultures and customs. I only wish more people held such power and spunk to their human interactions in life. His reasoning for each opinion in certain areas gave me confidence in my own opinions as well. This book and his story have inspired me and shall influence others in the future.

I enjoyed the book a lot. Didnt like the idea of Billy putting in that he pisses in Public Places. If he does that he should keep it secret. Bad habit to get into in a city.
