This video, sent to me as a gift, is a delight from beginning to end! I watched it with my husband and others - all of varying faith and church tradition - ALL enjoyed it thoroughly. We were moved to smiles and laughter and some to tears, by the history and music and wisdom and faith contained within. Often this or that would evoke a "Wow" exclamation. So my advice is: light the fire, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea - and enjoy !

The video is a history of Billy Graham's work, and of Christian music - from John Wesley forward: - the great church hymns -gospel music generally, and of black gospel as well.

It is a tribute of course to Billy Graham and the Crusades- with fascinating clips and interviews to tell the story - But it is above all, a celebration of Faith !

I am giving the tape as speaker thank-you gifts within my church group, and as Christmas presents - Its a no-risk winner !!

If there is someone you think would be turned off by a "Christian" tape - book - CD - whatever - THIS is the thing to give them !

I've had a few bad experiences when buying Christian DVDs. It seems that some of the producers are still living in the audio stone age! I think of the Left Behind series of movies where all, except one are in plain ol' stereo. However, this music DVD is the exception. The photography, the camera work and film editing are amongst the best I've seen anywhere, and the sound is in both Dolby 5.1 and Dolby stereo. The 5.1 surround is really effective with one hearing the people all around just as if you were in the room with them. The program content I found to be spiritually and emotionally uplifting. I noticed that the tears were flowing down the faces of many of the participants - me too!!!! This DVD honours the Lord and will stand proud when compared to those in the secular world.

I have always been a faithful Billy Graham follower since I was a little girl. I am now 57 years old. I loved this video as it contained many of the songs I grew up on and artists I listened to, espcially George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows. As all of the Gaither videos, this video was very well done. I am very thankful Bill and Gloria Gaither honored Billy Graham with the two videos. I really liked Volume II but I loved Volume I better. Thanks Bill and Gloria and all the Homecoming Friends who participated.

I have Volume One and Volume Two. Volume Two is my favorite, but these go together, and are both good. Having only one is like having half a book. My library has many DVD's with the name Gaither on them. I find that as I begin to feel like I have known these folks all my life, almost any of their productions give me something. Also, if you are fond of Billie Graham, Bev Shea, and so forth, these two DVD's would just about be a must. What is not to like?

Antoher delightful evening with Gospel music from the Gaither Homecoming Friends, as well as friends from the musical teams of the Billy Graham Crusades. I enjoyed the visits with George Beverly Shea, Cliff Barrowsn, Franklin Graham, and the narrative on "The Creation" by Wintley Phipps. I especially enjoyed the arragement of "The Kind Is Coming" featureing George YOunce and the Gaither Vocal Band. Doug Oldham sang George Beverly Shea's song "Oh, the Wonder of It All" and Shea sang an arrangement of "How Great Thou Art." All in all this was an evening of inspiration, reflection, and worship.
