Yes, the smell is nice, but that's about it -- the product is horrible. I have a hard time believing that anyone used this with successful results (I call B.S. on some of those reviews). I have normal skin type and after using this product for 1 week my face was in pain. There is way too much Retinol & Salicylic acid (acne drying agents) in the formula -- trust me, this will over-dry your skin. If you have severely acneic skin you may like this, but for everyone else this will wreck your face. I will say, the aftershave lotion Billy Jealousy produces is nice, but the Bar None face wash is absolute GARBAGE.

This was the first Billy Jealousy product I purchased, and I was not disappointed. I have tried many skin care products for men, and only a few moisturizers really hit the mark. This one hit the mark for sure.

When I used it the first time, the color was the first thing I noticed. A translucent green gel. That was kinda fun, but I digress. The product itself smelled incredible! It was like a lime margarita mix.

I put a quarter sized amount into my palm, which I later realized was waaay to much, and rubbed it in. The pleasant smell made it a pleasure to work into my skin for a few moments.

After I stepped out of the shower I waited to see the after effects (how fast my skin would dry out). It took about 3 minutes before I was fumbling for a moisturizer, but at least my skin felt super clean.

I use both this and the White Knight cleanser, but this one beats it out, at least for my oily skin.

The only downside? The price and size. If they sold this product in the same size as White Knight (8oz. vs. 6oz.) and kept the same price, I would never stray away from this cleanser.

I couldn't agree more with the previous review, this stuff is great.

My entire adolescent and adult life I've had oily skin, mild to moderate acne and a notorious case of post-shave ingrown hairs. Drug store washes never seemed to do the trick.

And now, with the sticky and humid D.C. summer setting in, Bar None is the one product that's worked. And at only $18, it's a steal in my view.

Face wash itself is quite good. My face feels fresh after using it. However the packaging is horrible. The lid at the bottom of the bottle is very tight and hard to open (especially when your hands are wet). The lid also leaks a little bit (it's tight, but not water proof) when I travel, making my other toiletries slightly slippery.

I love this cleanser, a definite must have in every shower. My skins feels and looks great.

I mentioned earlier that I have fairly sensitive facial skin, and it dries out easy after washing. I am very picky with what I use on my face. Bar None seems to gently clean my face, and leave it smooth, with little dryness like the others (Jack Black and L' Occitane) seemed to do. Bar None smells great, and works well. I love it.

I don't think this cleanser works particularly well -- if anything, since using it, my otherwise clear skin has *become* troubled. Perhaps it's a formula that only works for men, or only works on sensitive skin -- I have combination skin and am a girl, but after reading top reviews here decided to give it a try. Wasn't for me, although I really like the smell of this product.

I was out to dinner with a friend and noticed his skin looked really great. His skin is very sensitive and its hard for him to find a product that doesn't irritate him. When I asked him waht he'd been doing he said he'd just been using Billy Jealousy! I've since bought it for my boyfriend and he loves it too.

This by far is my favorite face wash! It leaves you face feeling clean without drying. It also works great if you have any blemishes. This cleanser has a wonderful refreshing scent! A great pick-me-up in the morning! This is my favorite -Bar None!

I love this product if I wanted to bathe in SAND!


I know why people are jealous about Billy. It's because he is a marketing genius! To be able to call your soap SAND instead of what it really is and that's DIRT! Change his product name to Liquid Dirt and see how many he sells.


I think he knows the answer to that one..... and by the way if you are scrubbing your face with wet dirt you probably are going to look like a mix between Freddy Krueger and Brother Love with a splash of Sloth from Goonies! You just ain't going to look normal.....you just ain't!


Let's talk about the product a little bit. There is nothing wrong with trying different things in the shower but washing with dirt shouldn't be one of em.

You shower and bath to get rid of dirt but if you wash with dirt you never get rid of dirt. Doing this is like taking a dump with your underwear on. It's gonna get ugly!


Don't buy this stuff and if you really want to give it a whirl go out in your yard, put some dirt in a bucket, pour a bottle of soap in it and fill it with water and dump on it on your head. Saved you $20!
