They work very well, and are very comfortable to wear.

I can still hear the equipment running, but the sound is very subdued and I am able to hear my music at a comfortable sound level.
Vic
The good is the ear muffs really block the noise and they firmly clamp onto your head.

I won't reiterate what others have said, but just make a couple pertinent points:

This is the best constructed headphone/ear protection I own. A have several by Peltor, and the one most comparable to the T3 is the Peltor H10A. The Peltor is not as well made; the over-head piece on the T3 is much better--it actually clicks into place and does not move. The Peltors are all wire, and move easily. I would say, if many people are going to use same headset (such as different shifts at a worksite), Peltor might be better as it's easily adjusted by just sliding on the wire. The T3 are better at a single set for your head size and it does not move.

The Peltor H10A might actually be a tad more comfortable for my head hat size at 7 3/4. The T3 is tight, and cannot be adjusted out for looseness. I'd rather wear the Peltor H10A for a protracted period of time than the Bilsom T3. If my head were smaller, I think the T3 would be fine.

The Bilsom T3 blocks sound better than any Peltor I have owned (I have owned about three models of Peltors). It's as simple as that.

Both have, because of the larger ear cup size (compared to lower profile, usually less protective for hearing, models) the ability to keep your head straight when dozing on an airplane. You know how people use the cervical neck pillow U-shaped things so they won't kink their neck to one side when they sleep on a plane? Well, you won't need that with a high-profile larger cup size sound protection like these---they stick out from your head enough that you will sleep with head straight ahead regardless. This is a "plus". And no need the lousy "noise cancellation" headsets for six times the price, plus batteries to charge, etc. These are great for air flight.

I bought these for my wood shop. Based on other reviewers comments, these were reputed to be comfortable - better than my current "head vise" earmuffs.

Used them in the shop. Yup, they are ok....BUT.......

then I powerwashed the deck, my garden shed and house. WOW - I wore them for 5 hours and actually forgot I had them on. While I could still faintly hear the dogs bark or my wife call, these were completely comfortable and effective.

Wonderful product, excellent price - buy them!!

I used these on the range and found them to be comfortable, however I wore them only once and for just half an hour so I can't comment on comfort longevity. For the duration I wore them I hardly noticed their presence. I was able to get my safety glasses on without trouble and the gunfire sounded like distant pop caps going off, very muted, just the way I wanted it. When the range officer spoke I could hear him clearly, but I had to concentrate, he sounded like he was twice as far away as he was.
Amazon was fast, accurate and very reasonably priced, as usual.

Comfortable. Light weight. Well-built. I would purchase again. Fit snug and tight around your ears, but as stated previously, they are still comfortable and they do take the edge of a noisy home (I have three daughters ages 5,7 and 9). Now when they get too loud for my comfort level on the main level of my home, I just put these muffs on my head and then I don't have to leave the main level of our home. In the past, I would seek shelter from the noise ether in finished basement or upstairs.

The good is the ear muffs really block the noise and they firmly clamp onto your head.
The bad is the adjustment of the head size is not easy and takes a minute or so. I would NOT recommend these headphones if more than one person has to use them back and forth. If only one person is going to be using them, then they are great. They clamp the head more than the 3m ones. The 3M ones look exactly like the Peltor ones. If you get theses ear muffs on, they are not coming off unless you intentionally take them off.

After checking the specs on a bunch of noise protectors, I got the Bilsom T3 and am quite satisfied with it. They are on the large side but they do a very good job of cutting down noise levels. My Bilsom T3 (NRR 30) is comparable in performance to the Peltor H10-A (NRR 29), which I have also tried. I use the T3 when shooting photos at weddings and events where I have no choice but to work in very loud surroundings, sometimes even right in front of blasting speakers. The Bilsom T3 cuts noise down to comfortable levels. They are comfortable to wear, even after hours of use, but can become a bit sweaty after a while. They seem durable, though being kind to the all-plastic construction will probably help.

I found my 2 year old grandson was sitting on his fathers lap while his father practiced his drums. Even though his father is a excellent drummer, the sound is deafening within a couple feet of the drum set. I put my Bilsom Thunder T3 on my grandson and amazingly they adjusted to fit snuggly on his head. I have owned other ear protection that even I had a hard time keeping them on my fat head, but my Bilsom Thunder T3 hangs on snuggly and doesn't pinch my ears either. I work on and near running jet aircraft for six or seven hour a day sometimes and wouldn't give up my Bilsom Thunder T3 for anything. So, I went directly to the internet, the only affordable web site that sold the Bilsom Thunder T3 was amazon.com. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Bilsom Thunder T3 and amazon.com.
