Perfect for the expatriated American, lurking in the shadows of the smoky bar in the tropics, trying to stay one step ahead of the IRS or the assassin on his tail since Tangiers or the irate husband of the beautiful blonde who stepped into his life in the casino in Monte Carlo, looking for a good time and a winning hand at the baccarat table....
It also worked nicely to keep the hot sun off my head in Grand Turk and the Bahamas.
It packed well into a stuffed suitcase and popped back into shape when unpacked on the cruise ship.
The chin strap kept the hat on while on the dive boat, even through a high speed run to the reef on a windy day.
I was even tempted to use the loops in the headband to hold my MP3 player and extra memory cards for my camera (or maybe a clip or two of extra ammunition in case I ran into that assassin from Tangiers), but my wife and daughter thought I looked like a dork and wouldn't walk with me to Senor Frogs, right next to the Straw Market in Nassau where two people said "nice hat."

The pictures and description were very accurate. The hat is great! I have looked into other stores, after I got this from you. Found out that the same style, not as well made or durable, in other stores are between $60 & $70. I really like the hat because of the "airy" crown and the style. A great summer hat!!

I purchased for my husband & he has worn it doing yardwork ever since. It keeps the sun off his face & neck & stops the prespriration from running down into his face. This is the first hat he has worn other than a ball cap in our 37 years together. It has to be first rate.

I was very pleased with my "shopping" experience. The hat I ordered was delivered very quickly and it was packed very well. It was exactly what I expected. It was a gift for my dad and he was very happy with it. The only thing I would warn other shoppers about is that it seems to run a bit small. I ordered the large/extra large and it fit my dad ok but was a bit snug. I wouldn't order this hat for someone with a very big head seeing as the hat is only available in 2 sizes and the largest is not all that large.

I love this hat. It is perfect for blocking maximum sun while keeping the wearer cool and looking good. The mesh at the top allows for maximum cooling effect. No sun gets to my face and in Arizona this is no small thing! It also looks great and I get alot of complements. I have only one small complaint. The brim does not hold its shape as well as I would like as it is not rigid but flexible. This makes for easy packing but I do not travel with it. Other than that a terrific buy you will not be disappointed! The best sun hat I have owned to date.

The hat was cool on the Santa Fe Trail trip and the strap kept the hat on from the wind. The trip was with 87 fifth and sixth graders and a number of side trips to visit on the trail.

I bought this hat to keep my ever-more-balding head out of the sun while doing simple chores around the yard and while walking. It does the job without excessively heating up my head. I unexpectedly found out that it does a great job of keeping the rain off my head as well. I'm very satisfied.
