A GREAT FIFTIES'S ORIGINAL RECORD,
By ALAIN ROBERT (ST-HUBERT,QUEBEC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bing Sings Whilst Bregman Swings (Audio CD)
BUDDY BREGMAN has made great records with ELLA, ANITA and that one with BING CROSBY in a time when SINATRA was the most popular AMERICAN crooner.Hearing BING sing to those terrific arrangments is a gas ,and fans should really get that truely wonderful album.BREGMAN has succeided here in bringing BING into his turf without deposses him of his own relaxed style ,that was his trademark.I like MOUNTAIN GREENERY best because its a perfect song for him ,but the whole album is good.Forget those endless greatest hits tributes and buy this, you won't regret it.

Great, but one note...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Bing Sings Whilst Bregman Swings (Audio CD)
While this is a fabulous recording and the sound on this "gold" version is very good, I encourage potential customers to seek out the version released in 2001 which is less expensive and has even better sound. The superior release is in a cardboard folder with the original photo-cover inlaid on a background of swirling red. Said disc is sometimes available on Amazon, and is quite commonly found in major record stores.

Ear Splitting,
By frankebe (redwood city, ca United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bing Sings Whilst Bregman Swings (Audio CD)
All the good things everyone says about the music-making is true, but the sound is way too bright and harsh. It doesn't come close to comparing with recordings of the same date by Sinatra and Riddle (Songs for Swing' Lovers) recorded by Capitol in 1956, and onto CD in 1987 (!) . I cannot turn the volume up without fiddling with the equalizer, which is something I don't like to do. This recording needs serious re-mastering.
